-The test and trials of being born black in America are ever-present. His outlook has changed my life forever. He was specifically addressing black men when he made this statement. But it is safe to say that everyone can pocket this quote and find it useful, regardless of gender, race, or creed.

As some of you know, I am trying to get my girlish figure back!  So, in my attempt to stay positive, I have hired a personal trainer. She suggested that I find inspiration and post it everywhere! So, Kerry Washington is on my desktop. Call it idolization, but her picture is really helping me conquer my fried food addiction. My bff Lauren would call her my "girl crush". What's your 'stay fit' inspiration?
